Bojha – A New Bengali Short Film Has Been Released

New Bengali Short film Bojha, directed by Amitava Banerjee and produced by Soumita Movies has been released on 8th November in YouTube. The launch event took place in Kolkata Press Club in the presence of Subir Ghosh – Director of Soumita Movies, Director Amitava Banerjee, Mr. Pratyush Kumar Ghosh – DGM of Metro Rail, Lions Club Committee Member Mr. Subrata Sankar Ghosh, Mr. Sudip Bose – Director of OTT Solutions Private Limited, who is also responsible for the digital distribution of the movie, actor Sumitra Banerjee and renowned singer Debarati Dasgupta Sarkar.

Amitava Banerjee, the director of the movie “Bojha”, told that, “The story depicts the story of a married woman who is struggling for her identity. I would like to portray the story in a new way. Now a days the concept of the movie is so relevant for the society, that I would request all of you to please watch the movie and send your feedback.”

Mr. Subir Ghosh, the director of Soumita Movies, who is also the producer of the film said, “I am quite impressed with the movie. The plot of the movie is so relevant in this time. We didn’t use any star performer in our movie, all the artists are new and talented. I am always want to give chances to the new talent. And all the artists have done a great job.”

The movie digitally distributed by the digital distribution company, OTT Solutions Private Limited. The movie is available in YouTube channel “Nonstop Binodon” and “Binodan Plus” and the song of the movie available in all OTT Platforms (Ex: iTunes, Gaana, JioSaavn etc.). The director of OTT Solutions Mr. Sudip Bose said, “We are so happy to be the part of this short film. Fresh young talents has been gifted by Soumita Movies and director Amitava Banerjee to Bengali Film Industry. My best wishes with them.”

On that very day, Soumita Movies also announced another new project named “Panthashala Rahasya” – a horror movie. The shooting will start very soon.
